Future of Niecynotes + More

Hey folks, I haven't posted since last year!

Ok, I know that joke is a little old, but I think it's still cute. :)

It is a new year and everyone is on the "new" kick. New look, new habits, new life goals. I'm no stranger to "new" - however, it kicked in way back in September (hehehe).

My main goals for niecynotes is to be simple, fun, helpful and most of all, positive! In essence of that, I will continue adding new cute cards to the shop and even more products throughout the year. In the meantime, more posts on the blog are coming. I'm reviving a few series (i.e. "I Found This On Pinterest", "Paper Goodness", etc) and the Weekend Feature every week. Expect lots of bright colors in the mix! Oh and there will be plenty of good deals coming your way, so it would be best if you signed up for the eNewsletter.

"She's Baaaack...." - with Announcements

Hey there everyone!

I'm baaaack :)

I can not believe it has been almost a year since I posted on this blog! Geez louise!

Last year, I had expectations of switching up niecynotes as being a stationery/photography shop. What happened?

Well, put frankly, life.

Throughout this year, I've been so consumed with my day job, my family and offline orders and have slacked off my focus on my online shop. I also had a change of heart with featuring my photography - I love taking pictures and would rather have it as a hobby and not a part of the "biz." Hopefully that's understandable. :)

I know you're probably looking at this post and saying to yourself "what is this girl doing??" Yes, I have flipped and flopped all over because I kept missing my focus. I want to do so many things but per the advice from biz coaches Marie Forleo, April Bowles Olin and Mayi Carles, I finally figured out my go-to plan (and if you need help with your biz, I suggest checking up on their advice ☺).

Lots of stationery - cards, bookmarks, invitations and more - are coming your way! I am also transitioning selling venues - from Etsy to Big Cartel. I chose Big Cartel because it is accessible to everyone and I can customize the site like I want it. Everyone likes pretty sites, right? So come check out the official site:

Why I Haven't Been Around...

Hey everyone!

Sooo....it's been a while since my last post and you're probably wondering what is going on with me and niecynotes! Yes, I stepped away for a while because I was working on this huge calendar project but now, it is FINISHED! Besides the calendars, I've been busy at my day job with the holidays approaching and all.

While on my unofficial hiatus, I've been thinking and I mean A WHOLE LOT about niecynotes and what to do next. A thought crossed my mind  - what am I known for? I love stationery and working with different paper. Offline, I also love and am known for my photography with friends and family. Oh the thoughts were going for a while...

Finally, it hit me!

*clunk*

How about mixing the two loves - paper and photography?

YES!

So as of January, niecynotes is rebranding, baby! I will offer stationery and photo services for all! As you read this, I am creating new ideas for the shop and I REALLY think you will like them! I will still have the basic items like bookmarks and note cards but with a twist of photography.

Please keep up with me and stay connected on Facebook, Twitter and the newsletter for all the updates. For the next few weeks, I am going to dish out all kinds of new items and you will see a full transformation by January.

Cyber WEEK Sale

This past week and this current week has been pretty crazy. I'm trying to get things together in short time spans and maybe it's starting to fall into place since I'm writing this post :). November + Announcements!

It's November!! Wow! Just one more month after this to round up 2011. The big shopping season is coming up and I know many of you are excited about that (especially Black Friday this month). I don't know about you, but lots of things are happening with me offline.

I have a new schedule with my day job amongst other things and my schedule is going crazy! Have you ever had that "I need to organize my life" feeling? Yup, that's me right now. As we speak (or as you read) I am conjuring up a new schedule before the rush begins. I will try my best to write posts and even schedule some during this period. In the meantime, I have new things coming up for niecynotes!

What to expect in the coming months:
☺ Invitations - Printed wedding invitation sets, to be specific. I love weddings and I have been asked to make invitations for them with success! So I thought I should make some for the Etsy world. The two types of sets (with respective envelopes) are:
          ♥ Simple Invite Sets - Save the Dates, Invitations, Response Cards
          ♥ Reception Sets - Programs, Menus, Place Cards 
I will also have an "a la carte" option for each. If you are interested in any of these now, feel free to email me.


☺ Calendar - I am in the process of making a calendar for the 2012 year! Stay tuned for this very, very soon! 


☺ More, More, More! - Recipe cards, gift tags and stationery of course. Be on the lookout for more special deals, coupon codes and giveaway info on the Facebook page and on the email list.

Crafty Little Circles

Back by popular demand - Crafty Circles!

Some Crafty Circles!

Just earlier this year, I had some of these 1-inch circles in stock as Crafty Supplies. I thought that crafters and scrapbookers would love these for their projects. Unfortunately, I ran out of them and sold the last bit I had as clearance.

50 Blue and White Circles

People asked me for more but I ran out of colorful cardstock. However, I found some a few days ago and tried to figure out what to do with it. Duh - make those crafty circles again! And so I did.

Here are a few things you can do with these cardstock circles:
* Make gift tags out of them
* Create handy labels
* Make game pieces like Bingo chips or Tic-Tac-Toe pieces
* Scrapbook or craft out some paper projects

So...a little story

Hello everyone! I'm opening this blog much earlier than expected. I did say about a month in the previous post. Turns out to be a few days lol. I am in the midst of transitioning niecynotes and ran into a snafu renovating my main site. Somehow I messed up my main site blog's code and it is unreadable! Geez louise. 


In the meantime, here is the NEW niecynotes blog and I hope you get to enjoy it as much as I do! This is totally a work in progress, so ignore little things missing here or there (ok, maybe that's the perfectionist in me talking lol). I love what Blogger has done lately and decided to try it out. There will be future changes as we go along (i.e. domain name, etc) so bear with me. :) I'll definitely keep you updated!
